Webby Award Won for NASA Web Design
FREDERICKSBURG, VA, June 29, 2010—Pete Buttecali, a strategic partner and art director for Susan Carol Associates, announced this month that one of his Web design projects for NASA won a Webby award. He said, “It is very exciting for all of us involved in this project to be recognized for our group’s efforts. We credit a great deal of the success of this project to the leadership and vision of the NASA Headquarters Exploration Systems Mission Directorate Communications Office. The site was subsequently repurposed for use in a display in the National Air & Space Museum as well as traveling exhibits across the US which allow guests to interface with it using a Nintendo Wii-Mote.” The award-winning site is NASA.gov/City.
Buttecali has been the creative talent in the branding and design for many of Susan Carol Associates” clients, including software providers, consultants, healthcare providers and leading American corporations. His identity designs have helped our clients launch original brands, elevate elevating existing identity art or unify brands with partners or sub-units.
